Tutorial 3 : Using Map Filters

Map Filters allow a user to select only markers in certain categories for display and hide markers in other categories.

1. Goto Section 10, Filters. At the end of this section is a link to your map data (an XML format file). Click on this link to view your map data.

2. Copy and paste all the URLs of marker icons from the data file into the multiline text box in the Filters section. Ignore duplicates of the same URL.

3. Add a filter title on the same line as each Url separated by a space.

4. Click 'Update' to preview the map and obtain the script.

The filters are displayed in the 'Tools' section of the sidebar.
