Tutorial 5 : Location Links

Location Links provide quick navigation links to zoomed views of locations on the map.

For example, on a county level map, location links can be used to select individual towns or villages.

1. Go to section 7, Map Viewport and Location Links.

2. To add a single location link, first pan and zoom the map to the required location. Then enter the name of the location and click the 'Add Location' button.

3. Repeat the above stage for additional locations

4. Finally click the 'Zoom to Fit Map Data' to set the viewport to the map centre and zoom level to be used on startup.

5. Click 'Update' to save the new settings.

You can manually edit the location links list, for example, to change the display order of the location links.
