You can support Map Channels with a donation and enjoy subscriber benefits.

Donations are made through Paypal and can be made from your Paypal account or by using your credit/debit card.

Donate £ 10 (British Pounds) or more to upgrade your account to Subscriber status for one year.

Donate more for a longer subscription period at the rate of one year per £ 10 donated. (e.g. £ 15 = 18 months, £ 30 = 3 years).

Subscriber Benefits

All Map Channel versions (v2, v3, v4)

• The option to locally host the map on your website.

• Larger feed size limit (1MB for subscribers, 256 KB for normal users)

• The option to disable adverts or use your own Adsense ID on locally hosted maps.

• Unlimited daily feed refresh.

• A higher place limit for edit enabled maps (1,000 places for subscribers, 500 for normal users)

Note : For non-subscribers the automatic feed refresh is disabled if the map channel settings have not been updated within the last six months.

Map Channels v4 (except for Edit Enabled Maps)

• The option to disable adverts on your remotely hosted v4 map channels which get less than 5,000 views per month.

Note : locally hosted maps are when the map HTML code and data is hosted on your website, rather than using the default embedded map code at data.mapchannels.com.

The view limit has been brought in for v4 as remotely hosting the maps code and data does cost money and when a map receives a large number of view this cost is not always covered by the donation.

If your map is likely to exceed 5,000 views per month then subscribers have the option to locally host the map where you can permamently disable ads

Other Map Types

Subscriber status does not remove adverts for map types not listed above (e.g. Team Maps, Dual Maps, Switch Maps).
